Heavy duty screw-in Peggy Peg high quality pet ground anchor from Germany, 31cm long and strong to restrain pets weighing up to 45kg.
Very strong but light aluminium peg with included heavy duty steel spring shock absorber to cushion against injury to the pet. It includes a strong metal locking clip for attachment of the animal's lead.
The peg can be turned in by hand or an electric drill can be used. It copes with a variety of soil types.
Peggy Pegs' ribbed upper shank design allows the clip to be fixed close to the ground even in difficult soil conditions when the peg can't be driven in for its full length.
The clip should always be positioned close to the ground so that no extra leverage is exerted on unsupported lengths of peg above the ground level.

Special ribber upper portion allows the clip to be positioned and remain at the lowest point as close as possible to the ground.
Always insert the peg as far as possible into the ground (max turning force 70Nm).
It is the responsibility of the owner to always ensure that the anchor is safely fixed in suitable ground conditions, appropriate to the pet and subject to supervision.
DO NOT hook the leash to the handle of the peg, this creates a lever which will loosen the peg's grip in the ground.
